Silicone Coated Fiberglass are made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber. It has characteristics quite similar to those of PTFE-coated fabrics: Good temperature resistance, good chemical and electric resistance. But they are more flexible, on the other hand, silicone has a non-slip surface, unlike PTFE. These fabrics are widely used for manufacturing of removable, reusable insulation pads, jacket for Valves, Turbines, Equipment requiring frequent.
