Silicone coated fiber glass fabric is main material of heat resistant&fireproof safe welding blanket. Its basic fabric is 0.85mm fiberglass fabric which has high strength, non-combustion, anti corrosion, chemical resistance. Coated with red silicone on both 2 sides, the coated fabric has excellent electrical insulation, abrasion resistance and anti chemical agents. Also this durable fabric is easy to fabricate without fraying on sewing parts. Total weight of this coated fabric is 34oz/sq.yd. Standard roll is 39.4" wide, 50m long. Service temperature of this heavy duty cloth is -50 to 260℃.
Due to its excellent fire resistance and high tensile strength, silicone coated fiberglass fabric is widely used in many industrial fields like metallurgy, construction, transportation, petroleum, chemical, electrical insulation, aerospace, etc.

Properties
1. High strength, durability
Fiberglass cloth is flexible but tear resistant, abrasion resistant, no need to reinforce significant wind resistance and mechanical properties for frequent use

Applications
- Welding blanket/ fire blanket. Heavy duty material is easy to fabricate. It is flexible and suitable for sewing. And this material is able toprotect equipments from spark splash, slag, welding spatter, etc. So it is a suitable material of fire blanket.
- In petrochemical industry. Red silicon coated fiber glass cloth with anti chemical agents features and high strength. We often use silicone fiber glass cloth to make pipes and storage tanks for storage of strong acid and alkali chemical substances.
