E Glass Surfboard Fiberglass Cloth 4OZ 27" Skimboard Fabric 100M Roll
4oz e-glass fiberglass fabric is woven by G150 1/2 e-glass yarns in plain weaving type. It is a lightweight, heat resistant, durable cloth. 4oz, 6oz and 8oz are standard specifications for surfboard glassing. These economical materials with high tensile strength and flexibility can keep the surfboard in great strength but light weight. And this flexible plain weave fabric is easy to fabricate.
When do the fiberglass fabric laminating, typically 3 layers of e-glass cloth will be used on the surfboard deck: usually two on the top and one on the bottom. 4oz fiberglass cloth with 70cm (27.5 inches) standard width is mainly used for shortboard. Roll length of 4oz 120GSM e-glass fiberglass fabric is 100 meters.
