E-glass 6oz 80cm Twill Weave Fiberglass Fabric Glass Fiber Cloth For Surfboard
Fiberglass fabric for surfboard is woven from e-glass or s-glass fiberglass filaments yarns. S-glass has about 50% higher tensile strength than e-glass fiberglass cloth. What's more, it is 25% stiffer in flex. S-glass cloth is more expensive than e-glass one, which is because it has higher physical strength. When producing surfboard, using S-glass fiber glass fabric will reduce heel dings of the surfboard. Also make it has longer using life.
But E-glass fabric is the most common used fiber glass cloth and it is always produced in large quantities. It is a durable and economical materials for surfboard manufacturing. E-glass fabric has great features like heat insulation, chemical resistant, stable chemical property.
For different application, the surface treatment is different. And except for surfboard building, this ligh weight fiber glass fabric can be used for coated fabric tp achieve special requirement. Becides, it is also an ideal materials for electrical insulation, widely used for cable, wire and other equipment insulation cover.
