This stovetop burner liner is produced from durable and fire resistant fiberglass fabric with a layer of food standard black/silver/brige color PTFE coating. This PTFE coating is totally no toxic, when you heat it, there is odourless. And obviously, this food grade coated fiberglass fabric can contact the food directly. It is also used to produce BBQ grill mats. So don't worry about the food safety problem when use this protector.
Materials of the protector is fiberglass fabric which can be used below 550 degree Celsius. But the coating PTFE can withstand a temperature between -70℃ to 260℃, max temperature can be 380℃. However, during common cooking, the temperature is usually below 200℃, so it is totally safe to use this PTFE coated fiberglass fabric to produce gas range protectors/stovetop burner liners. Common thickness of black protectors is 0.08mm, silver one is 0.12mm, beige one is 0.11mm. Size of this stovetop is usually 10.6x10.6"(27x27cm) with 4cm diameter hole.
