800 Degree Celsius 600g/m2 Brown High Silica Cloth 0.7mm Fiberglass Fabric
High silica cloth is woven by continuous filament silica fibers. It is high strength and inorganic fiber cloth with more than 96% silica (SiO2) content. The melting point of high silica fabric is close to 1300℃. It can withstand temperature below 800 degree Celsius continuously, what's more, it is able to stand instantaneous temperature of 1300℃. It is an great high temperature materials for heat/thermal insulation, abrasion resistance and chemical agents resistance.
Common weave of silica cloth is satin weave. This 600gsm silica cloth is 8HS satin weave. In this pattern 8 harness satin, there is a seven-by-one interfacing where a filling yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. 8HS weave is a stable weave for most application.
Fiberglass fabric is developed to take place of asbestos fabric which is used in welding and stress relieving work place. For these places, heat protection and molten metal splash shield is necessary. High silica cloth performs especially well in fiberglass fabric. Silica cloth is easy to fabricate and can remain flexible after high temperature exposure.
