A fire blanket is a high temperature fire-resistant blanket that can be used to either extinguish a small fire or to wrap around a person. They are made from 2 layer materials: outside woven glass fibre fabric and an inner layer of fire retardant film, special treated on one side or both sides. The blanket can also be specially treated to gain special purpose and better fireproof performance. They can quickly smother flames to minimize burn injuries or prevent a fire from spreading.
