6oz 30" 80cm Plain Twill Weave E-glass Surfboard Fiber Glass Cloth
Fiberglass fabric is high strength and light weight material which tends to provide a smooth finish and is excellent for producing a waterproofing layer over wood or other surfaces when combined with the appropriate resin. Besids, E-glass cloth will absorb minimal amounts of resin because of it's tight weave resulting in light surfboards. It is also the most economical choice for manufacturers and customers. This material is used widely in all over the world. 4oz, 6oz and 8oz e-glass are very common specification for surfboard production.
Unionfull produces plain or twill weave type fiberglass fabric for surfboard. We have 4oz plain, 6oz and 8oz twill weave e-glass in stock. So if twill weave is ok for you, it will be more economical and need less delivery time.
The width we have in stock is: 70cm/27.6" width of 4oz fabric. 80cm/30" width of 6oz and 8oz fabric. They are common widths for surfboard building and can meet most customers' requirement.
But except for surfboard building application, 6oz fabric also can be used in other fields, for example, it is very suitable for coating to meet some special applications. It also can be used to produce septic tank/pipe, fire blanket and fire curtains. However, based on its major application for most customers, it is usually called as a separate series for sport euipment building, 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 7628 and other light weight fiberglass cloth that can be used for sports products like snowboard, surfboard and skimboard.
