Heavy Duty PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric For Welding Splash Blanket
Polyurethane(PU) coating fiberglass fabric is woven by high strength E-glass fiber glass filament yarn. Then it is coated with a specially polyurethane coating on two sides. It also has excellent features of fire-proof, abrasion resistant, anti-chemical, oil resistant and splash protection.
Total weight of this pu coated fabric is 700g/m2. Base cloth is 666 satin woven fiberglass fabric with 600gsm mass per unit and 0.6mm thickness. Coating on both sides are 50g/m2 white PU each side.
PU coated glass fiber cloth are capable of resisting instantaneous temperature up to 1100 degree Celsius. So it is very suitable for welding splash protection blanket/curtain.

Superiority of the base cloth
Among reinforcements application, fiber glass fabrics continue to be the most common-used reinforcement in the composite industry. Fiberglass are the least expensive among reinforcements and easy-handling. What's more, when combined with resin, glass fiber fabrics offer high strength, light weight and excellent cosmetics.
If want to select a fiberglass fabric for industrial use, a lot of cpecification may be considered. These are broken down into four basic variables: Yarn weight, thread count, weave pattern and fabric finish.
Basic weave type are used in the manufacture of fiber glass cloth. For industrial purposes there are five basic patterns: Plain, Twill, Satin, Leno and Basket.
Construction is decided by the number of warp yarns and fill yarns per inch of the fabric and by the weave pattern.
Finish of fiberglass fabric, most applications require fiber glass fabric be used with a coating material. For compatibility with resins coatings, organic finish or after treatment.
