Silica cloth is a high performance inorganic textile fabric that is comprised of high purity, high strength amorphous silica fibers, woven into a strong, flexible fabric designed for use where severe temperature conditions exist.
The content of silicone dioxide is more than 96% and the weight loss of ignition is less than 3%.It is an ideal replacement for asbestos product used for thermal insulation and heat protection. It will not burn, rot, mildew or deteriorate and resist most acids.

They also have excellent chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties.They are used in many applications like, welding/cutting protection, molten metal splash protection, heat and flame shielding and more.It is also be used for the rocket, the missile, the thermal insulation of spacecraft, ablative materials, high temperature-proof materials and high temperature-resistant insulation materials.
